Hey, everyone--! Is anyone home? Look, I brought home some stuff. [and there's a heavy THUNK on the table, some rustling of plastic bags--sounds of taking things OUT of the bags, etc. Luke hasn't been spending much with his restaurant paycheck, so what do you do with money that you have sitting around, you don't need to save (or want to), and would effectively be play money and useless back home?

You buy junk from other worlds with it, of course.]

I don't really know everything about all this--but the guy at the store called this a 'game console' or whatever--you can play games on it! I don't know if they mean like, chess or whatever. It's an...Xbawks? The display was down, so I didn't get to see it in action--but I got a few games for it, however that's supposed to work.

--Oh! And look at this. [more rustling of paper bags] It's a music player, so you can listen to music wherever you go! It's really small though, I wonder how it all fits on there? It probably won't stay as light or small once you get all the songs on there or whatever.

And then the guy at the store asked me if I wanted to get a plan for 'cell phones'...dunno much about those, but apparently you can talk to anyone with them from anywhere--kinda like with the communicators! I got one for each of us, even if the paperwork was kinda confusing.

And there's more stuff in there--I really need to figure it all out though.

I saw these for sale around the City, I guess they use fireworks for some holiday in one of the other worlds. I know we wouldn't celebrate it--but it's summer and it's something to do, and well...maybe it'll be good promotion for the restaurant?

Man, after seeing Guy post, I thought it would be terribly awful to let him show me up in humbleness. So, I've got some things to say.

I'm a royal pain in the ass. Literally. I like to abuse cute animals and I have a diary that I update daily. Let me see. Ohhhh, this one is nice.

I also want everyone to know that I don't know anything about how the world works. I've been stuffed in a manor almost all of my life. Guy is so much more experienced and manlier than me. When we sword fight, he always wins. Sometimes I wish I was him. At night, I dream of what it's like being the coolest man this side of the city.
